This is just beautiful. For me, watching boys from the 1980s now fathers to boys of 2026 is a gift. The way you compare the boys to changing seasons is perfect. Thank you for filling my heart with memories of OWEGO.

This particular blog was one of my favorites. The writing was so heartwarming and it actually brought tears to my eyes. Going back through the years and reliving special memories are never to be forgotten. The years go by quickly and to see the campers mature and grow is a beautiful thing. Friendships are made to last and grow. Thank you Lake Owego for what you do to make campers and staff want to come back.
