We blinked and the 1st Session is over. We had an incredible 3 1/2 weeks! We want to thank all of the families of the 1st Session campers for giving the gift of Lake Owego Camp to them and for entrusting us to give them the best summer of their lives.

When they get home, you may get so many details all at once and you may get silence. Some campers sleep for a few hours and some, a few days. Some can only think about plugging back into social media and catching up on their favorite television shows, some might take a while to ease back into “real life”. We can assure you that all of them will miss camp. They’ll miss their bunk-mates, their favorite counselors, the lake, morning line-up, Sportsflash, SFA and everything they can only experience here, at camp.

You may want to have their favorite meal waiting for them but they might only want hamburgers and hot dogs cooked on our giant outdoor grill, or our famous chicken patties! Try to refrain from asking a ton of questions. We know it will be hard, but trust us, they will tell you things in their own time. They have grown to be independent, tolerant and have also grown in inches too 😉
