1st day of camp

In thinking back to this past summer at Lake Owego, there were so many amazing days. There was the first day of counselor camp, when I got to meet our international staff, in person, for the first time and welcome back all of the familiar faces. The first day of each session is always exciting to see how much everyone has grown since last summer.

The breakouts of Olympics and Frontier Week are everyone’s favorites and full of energy and anticipation. The rain soaked 4th of July led to a super fun day of crazy counselor competitions at the stage and HBC. The days the The Grand Owegan and 100 Miler returned to camp, I was filled with pride and welcomed a worry free, good night’s sleep.  And last but not least, Phil Smith’s arrival. There is probably a part of everyday at camp that could certainly be a favorite of mine, so many awesome memories to think about.
