The summer of 2023 is underway at Lake Owego! Opening day was a rousing success, with smiling faces arriving by planes, cars, and buses. After lunch, the campers enjoyed ice cream and rec swim. The passing showers couldn’t put a damper on everyone’s excitement. As the afternoon faded, a rainbow appeared above camp, making Owego look even more magical than usual. Evening activity brought the whole camp together at Scotty’s Stage for the annual “Staff Show.” New this year was a video montage of our stellar staff from all areas of camp, from athletics to creative arts to adventure. The day ended with each division enjoying a bedtime snack. Here’s to our best summer yet!
